Day 1: Arrive Dar Es Salaam Meet your tour host and other group members in your hotel bar or lounge this evening.

Days 2 & 3: Dar Es Salaam > Lake Manyara National Park (B,L,D) This morning we fly to Manyara where our safari begins. In this National Park, enjoy a spectacular setting with pink flamingos dotted on the shoreline and famous tree-climbing lions. We explore the park on day and evening game drives with a guide and tracker team in a four-wheel drive searching out lions and herds of elephants. We'll also have a picnic at the lakeshore, a cultural tour and take part in bird-watching.

Days 4 & 5: Ngorongoro Crater (B,L,D) From Lake Manyara we drive to a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Ngorongoro Crater. Protected by the crater walls, an estimated 25,000 mammals are resident within, including the highly endangered black rhino, lion, giant tusked elephants, wild dog and more. We enjoy plenty of time viewing the wildlife in this nearly 3 million year old intact caldera, a veritable 'Garden of Eden'. Spend two nights just outside the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Days 6 - 9: Serengeti National Park (B,L,D) Drive to the Serengeti National Park, a hotspot of wilderness action! We spend three full days in Tanzania's oldest game reserve, staying at the Serengeti Wilderness Camp, a beautiful seasonal campsite set in a prime location for us to try and catch the movements of the Great Migration. Enjoy the indulgence of a true "Out of Africa" tented camp experience complete with en suite and comfortable beds, while only the canvas walls separate you from the wonders of the Serengeti. Each day we will head out on safari in search of the migrating herds and the predators that follow in their footsteps. You can expect plenty of big cat sightings!

Day 10: Serengeti National Park > Zanzibar Island (B) Fly from Serengeti to the spice island of Zanzibar today and transfer to our hotel in Stone Town. In the afternoon, visit the Forodhani Gardens.

Days 11 & 12: Zanzibar Island (B,D) Morning walking tour of the historic heart of the old town. Zanzibar has a colourful trading past having been at times occupied by the Persians, Portuguese, British and Omani. This afternoon we transfer via the Spice Route to our beach resort, Breezes Beach Club. Enjoy two full days of relaxing by the pool or on the pristine, untouched beach. Optional activities are available such as diving, snorkelling or windsurfing.

Day 13: Zanzibar > Dar Es Salaam (B) Afternoon flight to Dar es Salaam and stay overnight.

Day 14: Dar Es Salaam > Victoria Falls (B) Fly to Victoria Falls, via Johannesburg. Afternoon at leisure. We check into the historic Victoria Falls Hotel, the 'grand old lady' of the area with a rich history, beautiful landscaped grounds and a colonial feel. Set overlooking the Victoria Falls Bridge and the gorges below, the charm and tranquil atmosphere of the hotel has earned international acclaim.

Days 15 & 16: Victoria Falls And Chobe National Park (B) Enjoy a tour of the Victoria Falls, where David Livingstone proclaimed a sight so beautiful it must have been 'gazed upon by angels in their flight'. We also have a full day in the Chobe National Park, home to approximately 120,000 elephants. We explore the Chobe riverfront area by vehicle and by boat, where large breeding herds of elephant, as well as families of giraffe, sable and cape buffalo come to drink.

Day 17: Depart Victoria Falls (B) We have a final breakfast before transferring to Victoria Falls Airport where our journey ends.
