Discover the Flavours of Montreal
This gastronomic walk will allow you to discover the culinary, cultural and historical charms of the oldest district of Montreal.
Day 1: Arrive Montreal Upon arrival into Montreal, please make your own way to your accommodation. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore Montreal on your own.
Day 2: Montreal Commence on your private 2 1/2 hour walking tour at 9:30 am.
Hosted in old warehouses and showrooms of the 19th century era, some food boutiques open their doors to allow you to taste their delicacies. Through small and narrow cobblestone streets, the guide explains the influence of the Amerindians and the nuns on the good habits; also how the venue of the World Expo in 1967 brought exotic food to our tables. That and much more, accompanied by a professional guide who will feed you with historical and gastronomic comments.
Lunch is on your own.
This afternoon at 3:00 pm continue with a 1 hour sightseeing boat cruise to explore Montreal and it's islands to the rhythm of the river aboard the Bateau-Mouche to discover the many splendours of a landscape that is both urban and natural. From the terrace or air-conditioned deck, you can soak in the relaxing pleasures of summer to the anecdotal comments of the delightful guides who will introduce you to some of the city's unexpected facets. Thanks to its low draught, the very heart of the majestic St. Lawrence River and its history.
Day 3: Depart Montreal
