Explore San Francisco, known for its liberal community, hilly terrain and Victorian architecture. Travel along the Redwood Coast and soak up the silence of these grandeur forests. Immerse yourself in the Oregon Coast with miles of crashing waves, quiet beaches, crabbing, whale watching and award winning breweries. Visit Seattle, a vibrant seaside cosmopolitan city offering many highlights to explore.
Day 1: Arrive Seattle Welcome to Seattle, the Emerald city. Take time to explore Pike's Place Market and centre of food and culture in Seattle. Don't miss the Fish Market or the flower barn!. This evening meet your fellow traveler's at a get acquainted dinner.

Day 2: Seattle This morning take a ride to the top of the Space Needle, built for the World's Fair in 1962 and still the most famous landmark of the city. Then wonder at one of Seattle's newest attractions. Chihuly's Garden & Glass, displaying the remarkable works of local world renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly. This afternoon, embark on a crazy laughter filled city tour with Ride The Ducks of Seattle, where you experience the city by land and sea.

Day 3: Seattle > Portland Bid farewell to beautiful Washington this morning as we head toward Portland, Oregon. Watch for some of the volcanic mountains en route, such as the notorious Mt. St Helens, best known for the eruption of 1980. This evening is free in Portland, and we suggest you partake in the Brewvana Tour and gain an appreciation and love of Portland's finest craft beer.

Day 4: Columbia River Gorge Today, travel along the historic Columbia River Gorge Highway, visit the scenic Women's Forum viewpoint, Crown Point and the Vista House all with incredible views of the Columbia River Gorge. Tour and explore numerous waterfalls, including Latourell Falls, Wahkeena Falls, Horsetali Falls and the breathtaking Multnomah Falls.

Day 5: Portland > Newport Today we'll enjoy a local city tour of Portland. Highlights include Pearl District, Bridges of Portland, Washington Park, Alberta Street, Old Town Chinatown, Lownsdale Square. Riverplace and the Chinese Garden. Later today we will continue to the Oregon Coast to the seaside town of Newport. Check into your hotel in Newport, where every room boasts a view of the ocean.

Day 6: Newport Lighthouses are many along the Oregon Coast, and today features a visit to Yaquina Head Lighthouse, opened in 1873 and still active. After free time in Newport's Embarcadero for lunch and shopping, board the MV Discovery for a two-hour sea-life cruise around Yaquina Bay featuring sea lions, seals, marine birds some whales and maybe a crab pot full of Dungeness crabs. Then visit the acclaimed Oregon Coast Aquarium, displaying the huge variety of sea life along the Oregon Coast. After dinner, join our hotel hosts for a bonfire on the beach, roasting marshmallows and eating's mores.

Day 7: Newport > Gold Beach Say farewell to Newport as we continue down the Oregon coast to Florence. After some free time to explore the historic Old Town of Florence, we will visit the famous Sea Lion Caves. Descend 208 feet down into the world's largest and most spectacular sea cave and view Stellar sea lions in their natural habitat. This afternoon will be an exciting adventure on the Giant Dune Buggy Tour at the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, the largest expanse of coastal sand dunes in North America stretching 40 miles along the coast. This one hour tour may be some of the most fun you have had on sand! We'll end our day in beautiful Gold Beach.

Day 8: Gold Beach > San Francisco
Traveling south we'll cross the state line in to California. Driving along the Redwood highway, through Humboldt State Park and the Avenue of Giants. Here the Redwood trees tower over 350 feet high and are up to 2000 years old, some of the oldest living things known to man. We'll arrive in the vibrant city of San Francisco and the evening will be yours to explore San Francisco at leisure.
Overnight: Holiday Inn Express Fisherman's Wharf (B)
Day 9: San Francisco Learn San Francisco's history as you explore the major sights on a guided sightseeing tour including Telegraph Hill, the Civic Centre, Golden Gate Park, Chinatown, Seal Rock Cliff, Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf. Take a relaxing afternoon cruise on harbor bay and sail right under the Golden Gate Bridge and around the island of Alcatraz, the Marin Headlands and the Bay Bridge. Enjoy leisure time to explore San Francisco on your own. Take an optional tour of Alcatraz Island, hop on board a cable car to Union Square or explore more of the sights and sounds of Fisherman's Wharf.
