An exceptional journey showcasing the highlights of Italy, from picturesque Italian villages and the iconic sites of Rome to the canals of Venice. Cruise to Dubrovnik, well known as the 'jewel' of the Adriatic with its well preserved city walls and beautiful harbour. Continuing south we delight in the Ionian island of Corfu before sailing to Italy visiting Naples, Rome and Livorno. On to jet set Monte Carlo before we visit Marseille ' gateway to the stunning scenery and tranquil villages of Provence. Our journeys ends in Barcelona where we have plenty of time for a taste of Spain!
Sat 13 Jun Australia - Singapore We fly to Singapore and overnight.
Sun 14 Jun Singapore - Milan Full day at leisure in Singapore until our evening transfer to the airport for the overnight flight to Italy.
Mon 15 Jun Milan - Cinque Terre (D) We arrive in Milan in the morning and drive to the Italian Riviera where we stay near to the villages of the Cinque Terre. Rest of day at leisure until our welcome dinner early this evening.
Tue 16 Jun Cinque Terre (B,L) Today we will explore the famous five villages of the Cinque Terre with our local guide.
Wed 17 Jun Cinque Terre (B) A day at leisure in this charming area of Italy.
Thu 18 Jun Cinque Terre - Lake Como (B) We drive north through the pretty Ligurian countryside and into the alpine scenery of northern Italy to Lake Como where we stay at one of the lakeside villages.
Fri 19 Jun Lake Como (B,D) Today we have included ferry passes on the central lake area so we can explore these historical and beautiful villages and palaces that make Lake Como so special. We dine at a local restaurant this evening.
Sat 20 Jun Lake Como - Venice (B) We leave the mountains of the north for the magical city of Venice where we stay overnight.
Sun 21 Jun Venice (B,D) This morning we will have a tour of Venice including a gondola ride. This afternoon we board our ship ms Nieuw Amsterdam, which sails late this evening.
Mon 22 Jun At Sea (B,L,D) We sail the Adriatic today - a great opportunity to explore all that our ship has to offer or simply relax.
Tue 23 Jun Dubrovnik (B,L,D) This "Jewel of the Adriatic" on the Dalmatian Coast is rich in Baroque, Gothic and Renaissance architecture. The medieval city is encircled by 14th century walls and massive guard towers; the carefully preserved old town features marble-paved squares, cobbled streets and splendid churches, palaces, monasteries and fountains.
Wed 24 Jun Kotor (B,L,D) Kotor is located along one of Montenegro's most beautiful bays. First settled during the days of ancient Rome, the city today has a well preserved urban centre with a vibrant community. Medieval architecture and numerous monuments of cultural heritage have made Kotor a UNESCO listed "World Natural and Historical Heritage Site."
Thu 25 Jun Corfu (B,L,D) Vineyards and olive orchards thrive amid rocky mountains on this westernmost Greek isle. Horse drawn carriages for hire lead tours of the Liston, a galleria of open-air cafés and alluring shops.

Sat 27 Jun Naples (Amalfi Coast, Isle of Capri) (B,L,D) Naples is one of the world's greatest cultural centres, filled with extraordinary works of art and architecture in the classical Greek and Roman styles. Sightseeing options abound such as a visit to Pompeii, one of the most famous excavation sites in the world; a short boat trip to the entrancing Isle of Capri; or drive along the Amalfi Coast - with its ocean views and beautiful vistas, it's one of the most breathtaking stretches of road in the world.
Sun 28 Jun Rome (B,L,D) In the Eternal City of Rome, Italy you can explore some of the world's most famous churches, monuments and fountains: the Colosseum, the Sistine Chapel, Vatican City, the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain (toss a coin in the fountain to ensure your return). Sip cappuccino at a cafe in a piazza or window-shop among the high-fashion boutiques of Via Condotti.
Mon 29 Jun Livorno (Pisa/Florence) (B,L,D) From the port city of Livorno, Italy, the riches of this remarkable region are revealed. Options include a trip to Florence, with a stop at the leaning Tower of Pisa en route, to provide some unforgettable experiences, including the Piazza del Duomo with its grand cathedral. Florence is home to the fascinating art treasures of the Italian Renaissance - works by Botticelli, Da Vinci and Michelangelo. A highlight is a visit to the Accademia Gallery, which houses Michelangelo's famous statue of David.
Tue 30 Jun Monte Carlo (B,L,D) The jet set principality of Monaco is the essence of the Riviera: couture fashion, grand yachts and nightlife centered around its famed Casino.
Wed 01 Jul Marseille (Provence) (B,L,D) A salty city with a feel and culture all of its own. Try the renowned bouillabaisse or tour the lovely towns and vineyards of Provence.
Thu 02 Jul Barcelona (B,L,D) We arrive in Barcelona this evening and spend our last night on board.
Fri 03 Jul Barcelona (B) We disembark in Barcelona this morning and enjoy an orientation half day city tour of Barcelona. Check into your centrally located hotel this afternoon.
Sat 04 Jul Barcelona (B,D) This morning we will have a tour of Barcelona including the Barceloneta, the Gothic Quarter and Gaudi's Museum. Our last afternoon in Europe is at leisure. This evening we enjoy our farewell dinner starting with the obligatory tapas of course!
Sun 05 Jul Barcelona - Singapore (B) Morning transfer to the airport for our flight to Singapore.
Mon 06 Jul Singapore - Australia Arrive into Singapore this morning and take our connecting flight to Australia, arriving late evening.
